Does your husband/SO cook and/or bake? Who cooks dinner? Do you have a a SO that doesn't like/know how to cook, that has never even touched the stove?!

I do most of the cooking, but DH does a fair amount on the weekends, either alone or with me.
He would share the cooking much more, but he has a super long commute and gets home too late for that. He used to cook much more, and actually worked as a line cook many years ago.
we're not your typical 9-5 m-f couple. i have those hours, dh has rotating days from 330pm to 1130pm (nypd). when i'm home i cook a lot by myself and make things i like that he doesn't really. when he's home i do most of the cooking but he also does some. he always makes his own lunches (as he's still home at lunch) and is awesome at it. he makes himself potatoes, panini, pasta, soup etc ...he's awesome. he'll cook a full on supper if i have a meeting or something to hurry to after work. he also makes delicious bread.
actually the other day i was making a limoncello cake and i asked him if he wanted to help me and he said 'dont try to domesticate me' hahahaah it was so funny. then i asked him if he'd help zest the lemons and he reached into the drawer, pulled out the microplane and handed it to me 'here's the microplane'. i looked at him and i said 'really kev? you know what to use to zest and the real name but say don't domesticate you'. it was a funny convo
I do probably 75% of the cooking, but DH likes to cook and he helps out a lot. There are some types of dishes that I don't even try to cook myself, like breakfast foods or homemade pizza. That's all DH!

We both cook. We each lived on our own for a couple years before we moved in together, so we each cooked on our own before. H likes to make fish and he has a few other things he makes. I like to try new recipes out more than he does (though he likes to eat what I make!). We'll also split up a meal. The other day he made the chicken and I made the side dishes.
I do all the baking, though.
DH cooks basically every meal (unless we get take-out). He loves it, and loves experimenting with all kinds of new cooking techniques.
I bake.
I do the cooking. DH is a meat, potatoes & pasta kind of guy. If I wanted him to cook there wouldn't be any delicious roasted vegetables since he doesn't eat them. he would be clueless on what to do with them.
If we have venison, DH cooks or grills that. I am nervous I will over cook it.

I do pretty much all of the cooking. Certainly the baking. Since DD has been really eating with us, I've also been prepping dinners for them when I go out of town, with absurdly detailed instructions for finishing/reheating. DH does not cook, mostly because he just really not that interested in food.
He does always do dishes and after dinner clean up. Since I like to cook, it's a pretty good deal for me.
DH does not cook. He can't. Doesn't know how and really isn't interested in it. He has been told that when we get back Stateside he has to learn some basic items. We want him to be able to hold down the fort reasonably well if I have to travel. We want our kids to know how to cook and plan to use family cooking time to promote that. And my selfish reason is that I just sometimes want him to have to worry about it and me not.
DH has yet to succeed at making Kraft macaroni and cheese. The last attempt he for some reason, even though he swears he read the directions, used 2 cups of milk.
My DH cooks. Well. He makes hotdogs and mac n cheese.... lol.

I'm the one who cooks in our home. My husband (I refer to him as Vhati because its easier for me) doesn't know how to cook; he was never taught. It makes me pretty uneasy any time he TRIES to cook something. He keeps thinking the little light for the burners on our stove are supposed to go off when it is ready to use.....he's burned more grilled cheese sandwiches (the only thing he was confident enough to cook until recently) that way.
It is sweet that he wants to try when I'm not feeling well/injured, but it just makes me nervous when he tries to make anything.
Grilling/Smoking= DH
Everything else= Me
H does 80% of the cooking. I make dinners on Sundays because he works until 7pm, and maybe one or two other times in a month.
He is super picky so it's hard to cook anything for him, so I just let him do it. Plus, I have a tendancy to be a bit of a disaster in the kitchen.
He really likes to cook for me now though, rather than it just being out of necessity. His food tends to be a little boring after a while. Mainly seasoned and grilled meat, and a sauteed veggie.
