What does this mean?
I can't feel the cold in normal portions
I'm curious.
Re: **LizO**
Lol, something is wrong with my nervous system, and I can't actually feel cold proportionally to what it is. For example, I am comfortable outside in 30 degree weather wearing a t-shirt and jeans. I only put a jacket on because I should, not because I am cold, if that makes sense. I only "feel" cold when it is below 20 degrees, and even that is still only slightly comfortable, and not "oh-my-god-i-freezing" kind of way.
I am also hyper sensitive to the heat, so at 70 degrees, I will overheat to a concerning level. My normal body temperature is around 99.9-100.2.
yeah, I was kind of confused, too... like maybe her hands get cold but her legs don't. Or that she doesn't get cold as easily as everyone else (super hot natured or something).
Please explain!
Oooooh, just saw this.
Makes more sense now, that's really interesting!
I wish I didn't get cold so easily sometimes, I sometimes have to bring a jacket to to the grocery store because the damn frozen food aisle and meat fridge areas will give me the chills every damn time!
Ah, thanks for the explanation. That is interesting.
I'm one of those people who is cold when just about everyone else is fine.

I am having a problem lately with night sweats, I think from some of the meds I am on. I would imagine that might be a problem for you? Do you sleep with any covers, or nothing on top of you?
I've had to switch pillows in the middle of the night b/c it was wet when I woke up, yuck. I don't know what to do about it, though, because temperature-wise things are normal.
Pretty much just a top sheet, and maybe a thin blanket. That really sucks about the night sweats. Are the medications a permanent thing or temporary?
The meds are just short-term as far as I know, but I will be on them for a few months and there are a couple different ones. I've had sweaty sleeps before but normally it's when I have been sick or recovering from a cold. Lately I have been getting them more often and I haven't been sick, so I am just assuming it's the meds.
I just hate waking up feeling clammy and wet like that, it's the pits!
