    Hawt! Love this pic!

Smile Thanks.  We had our ceremony and reception in one location so we didn't want to leave all the guests to drive all over the place taking pictures.  The photographer didn't have much to work with just the grounds around our church so she asked me to lay in the grass.  Her assistant was like "What?!  But she'll get grass stains on her dress!" and my response was that I didn't care I was only wearing the dress once.  Her assistant took this picture of DH resting while the photographer was taking some individual shots to me.  I like to call it Who assassinated the bride and groom?  LOL

No laughing here.  That's a beautiful dress.

That's because it is not a dress from the '70s.lol   It was my mother's wedding dress in 1951.  She must have really splurged on that dress.  It is all chantilly lace, and was really beautifully made.

    that is amazing!

Key West? I love your flowers!

I wish. I love Key West. It was in Austin at a place called Barr Mansion. It was PERFECT. They did everything, ceremony in one place, reception in a glass ballroom, organic food, cake & flowers.

  • Here is one of me that a friend took with her iphone.

  • TheBridesMom, I agree with everyone else, you look gorgeous and I love your dress.  So classic and timeless.
