Dressing your kid as a turtle...
... unfortunately, does NOT make him slow down. At all. 
Hopefully we'll get a smile out of him in costume tonight- he's breaking four molars and two incisors right now- not a happy toddler day. Poor baby.

That is the cutest turtle costume I've ever seen and the cutest kid is in it :-)
I'm thinking he'll feel better once he sees how much candy that cutest will buy him! LOL :-)

Thanks, guys. We won't ToT until he's old enough for candy- next year? But, he's going to wear it to help us give out candy tonight. If it's cool enough, we'll sit out on the porch- we tend to get quite a few ToTers most years. Fun to see them all!
He actually loves the costume- it's hilarious. He's SO fluffy and ackward in it- he does a funny squat in it to balance himself when he wants to sit down in it. I was going to make his costume this year, but, yeah.. that didn't happen- so we ended up getting a great deal at Babystyle since we waited so long!
I'm jealous that you guys get quite a few ToT'ers! We barely got any last year. We might walk around the neighborhood just to try and see more this year.
BTW, I emailed you back! We'll have to try to get the boys together for a play date when the Halloween madness ends!

Nooo. I wish I was that good with sewing! LOL! Babystyle- they made his octopus costume last year, too- great quality costumes and they get SUPER cheap if you wait until mid-October to order.
He was going to be Max, from Where the Wild Things Are, but, I just didn't get around to whipping the costume together. Maybe next year!
omg so cute! we didnt have too many ToTers . only two groups of kids, that was it. i was disappointed. but we had a little toddler turtle and he was so cute!! not as cute as Gabe though!!
