As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Buy IPhone from Apple or through phone carrier??
I think I'm going to pull the plug on my 3 year old blackberry with no data plan (long story) and upgrade to an IPhone. I'm currently with Tmobile so I will have to switch carriers. I'm not under contract so this shouldn't be a problem So is there a preference where I buy the phone or which carrier I should go with..TIA!!!

I don't really have an opinion in terms of which carrier you should go with. Although, Sprint is the only one that still offers unlimited data, Verizon and AT&T ditched that for new subscribers.
Personally, I would probably buy my phone through the carrier. Apple stores are going to be slammed for the next few weeks with today's release of the new iPad. You could have Apple just ship it to you, but I liked having someone there to set up my phone for me when I first switched over to the iPhone.
I don't think it really matters. I prefer to buy through the Applestore simply because I've found they're more knowledgeable about initial setups, etc, but AT&T seems to be fine as well.
I like AT&T for our coverage, plus we're under contract, but it really depends on your location and where you have better coverage for your needs.
The iPhone 5 should be coming out later this year, so if you can wait a while, it might be worth waiting for...
