I have to ask you ladies because I don't *really* want the opinions of the handful of people I could ask IRL in case I don't pick the one they like. lol
SIL is getting married in 2 weeks. I got Dress #1 months ago and really love it. I ordered Dress #2 to wear in May for my wedding anniversary dinner and a concert. It arrived today and now I am kinda liking it for the wedding instead. I think it looks more sparkly and dressy in person. (Almost too much so for the concert.) Also it's more comfortable for dancing at the reception. Still, if I don't wear #1 I have no idea when or to what I will wear it...
I have some champagne/bronze shoes to wear with #1 and will look for shoes to match the belt with #2. No jewelry yet.
I would post pics of me in them but I can't zip up #1 by myself and need a new bra to wear with #2. Seeing them on hangers is a little boring, I know, but humor me and share your opinion.

Re: NCR: Which dress?
Oh no, I thought it was a cute, fun party dress when I chose it. lol It doesn't remind me of prom in my day but that was.... a long time ago. ls that how the girls dress for prom these days?

I know, I just caught that! LOL But I swear it looks dressier in person and also it's a hotel wedding and both dresses are different from what I'd wear to a church wedding. #1 is actually 3 inches or so shorter than #2. Anyway, I agree that #1 seems more appropriate. I know I could "work" either one though.

This.
I agree on the first one. I think it is more sophisticated.
Thank you ladies!
I literally woke up with the "answer" lol and agree with you all. I am sticking with my first choice, dress #1. As I said, I picked it out months ago and I know I will regret a last minute switch especially to such a different style. I do love it. I just fell in love with #2 yesterday when I tried it on and got so excited. And it just felt dressier than I'd expected.
I'll post pics later!
