what's this love business all about?
So about two weeks ago, BF and I said "I love you". Well, pretty much ever since then every time I say it he doesn't say anything back or acknowledge it. I asked him if he was uncomfortable with it and he said it was fine. Really? Because it doesn't seem that way.
Sorry for the whine but it feels super sh*tty putting yourself out there and telling someone how you feel and getting shut down/ignored. I've never been so embarrassed before.

I think you're perfectly justified in feeling vulnerable and exposed with revealing your feelings and then having him seem to back off from it. What does he say when you talk to him about it?
