Not creative - need cute ideas. Boy's 2nd Bday
Thinking about cars and trucks theme or trains. He loves them both.

I did trains a couple of years ago. I got a Wilton puzzle cake that makes a train, but if you want to make your own there are a few videos on Betty Crocker too. For decor I cleaned up his toy trains- the wooden Melissa and Doug and another primary color one- and put them out as centerpieces with some curled ribboon. I found a felt Happy Birthday banner and hung that along with some helium ballooons.
For favors I tend to do some sort of non-edible with edible. It also sort of depends on who you are giving too. I only give to the kids so some sort of stickers, a pencil or horn, and some candies. My daughter's b-day is Sunday. Her bags have some glow sticks, a blow horn, a little popper thing, and some candies. Check the dollar store, Big Lots and look for things you can break apart. Now is a good time too because there are things out for Easter baskets.
