Can you recommend a Grout Sealer?

We're installing tile in our entry way, and I'm in need of a grout sealer that will stand up to heavy traffic -  including a dirty husband, a 100 lb bull mastiff and an-almost one-year-old who wants to do it himself (and make a big mess).  I used a random aerosol sealer I found at Lowe's in another room but was not impressed.

Re: Can you recommend a Grout Sealer?

  • My mom is currently getting her bathroom tiled and the guy doing it is using this but I'm not sure where he's getting it (I think you can buy it from the website though).  He used the same stuff on her kitchen floor when she had it tiled a couple years ago and the grout still looks great.
  • Hi!  We used AQUA MIX Sealer's Choice Gold... I got it from either Home Depot (pretty sure) or Lowes - I think it was $20, but i has great reviews and worked great for us.  And the small bottle lasted forever!

  • I asked my tile guy and he sent me to Daltile to buy a higher end one that cost $35.  If you have a tile store near you, I'd opt to go there.
