NCR - weird referring URLs on Blogger?

I check my stats pretty regularly for my food blog, and the "referring URLs" have some really odd ones listed.  I seem to have 3 from a "buy pills from India" web site.  As well as a few other weird ones, that don't (and wouldn't) have links to my site.  Anyone know why this happens?

I received a few like that before. I have no idea how that happens. I wonder if it's similar to something like netvibes where there are articles and random google ads that pop up and they click it.

I have a lot of weird links from Russia. I don't know how it happens.

I get weird ones too...I got the one you are referring to, and I also get  a LOT of them from:

http://www.justforlaughsgags.tv/

http://www.googlecorrection.com/ (Some sort of prison site)

Maybe you just have a large following with the inmates!!

Me too!  So weird.

it sounds like spam trackbacks.  Look for and delete spam comments, they likely used your site content to maximize their own search results.

I hardly get any legitimate comments, let alone spam.

I've looked up this issue on blogger - apparently many of them are not actually really referring people to your blog but instead want you to click on them to raise their viewing rate that way...seems stupid I know...i would not click on those links and some of them will probably go away...others are more persistent.  Not a bad idea to keep an eye out for spam comments too though.
