ROLL CALL: Who's here tonight & what are you up to?
It's the start of a 3-day weekend for me - woohoo!!! I took Monday off for no reason other than it's supposed to be beautiful for the next three days and I want to enjoy it (and I desperately need some down time from work)
As for tonight, DH and I just got in from dinner at The Outback. Gotta love going there during Lent - we got a seat at 7pm immediately! Now we'll probably kick back and catch-up on some episodes of Shameless or Shark Tank.

My DIY & Decorating Blog
I did some cleaning and decluttering after work, ate a simple dinner, and made some cookies (oatmeal white choc chip with cranberries).
Now, I'm enjoying some TiVO, misc computer stuff, a glass o' vino, and chilling out after a very busy week and busy weekend ahead.
It's my birthday, and DH took off a little early so that he could take me out. Except that we are not going out tonight. I don't eat meat, so every restaurant I want to go to is too busy or too noisy on a Friday during Lent/March Madness. He is picking up Chinese food on his way into town. I am debating whether or not to make something for dessert.
I have had the most boring, uneventful birthday ever. Not bad, just really boring.lol
I am planning on milking it and having a fun weekend with DH as well as celebrating on Monday with my business partner/friend who gave me a present this morning, but forgot our annual birthday lunch/dessert outing and made some lame plans to meet a niece at lunchtime to talk about making slipcovers for her.

We just took DD for an ice cream
Tomorrow we are going mattress shopping for both DD and us. I bought DD the most amazing upholstered headboard at HG last weekend and we will take her crib down until the new nursery is set up

It is so adorable. It is pink, green and white striped with an arched curve at the top. I just can't believe I found it at HG!!! And I found adorable pink bedding in the exact same color pink! Hooray! I am sure to post pics!!!
