I'm so thankful to have found this board. I don't post much but I started lurking on this board back in October, when I finally felt ready to get back on track with a healthy lifestyle. The prior year and a half had been really tough on me- having a new baby, dealing with postpartum depression, a difficult time in my marriage, and finally the real doozy, an autism diagnosis for my son. I was very depressed, lost too much weight, wasn't exercising, and generally felt terrible.

Now, as my son approaches 2, I'm running 3 days a week and even over the course of just a few months have significantly improved my pace (12min miles to 9 min miles). I joined Crossfit and go 3 times a week, and I notice the strength increases just in day to day movements like getting my son into his carseat. I never would have even known about CF without this board, and I don't think I would have been as inspired to keep running and keep running faster without reading about the amazing accomplishments of the ladies on this board. I'm back to the healthy eating that I used to love, and I've gained back some weight so I don't look scary as I did at a lower weight.

I feel physically and emotionally better than I have in years, and I really give this board credit for helping to motivate me. Thank you, ladies!!
