Thank you to everyone who recommended Revere Pewter

The painters are painting it in our main living spaces right now and we are really liking it---a very true light gray, very crisp and airy, a nice contrast to our dark floors and cabinets.

Here is a pic of the first coat: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Veronikas-Blushing/324144600949170#!/photo.php?fbid=371107946252835&set=a.324153740948256.84054.324144600949170&type=1&theater

will post pics when it's all done :)

Re: Thank you to everyone who recommended Revere Pewter

  • Looking good! I LOVE that chandelier! Can't wait to see the finished pics!
  • I think I'm one of the ones who recommended it (we have it in DH's office).  It looks great in your kitchen!  I can't wait to see it finished!
  • I can't wait to see it finished either! we used it in the majority of our house since it's so open concept that a lot of the walls connect and so it's hard to use a bunch of different colors so it's a nice overall color. We'll use darker grays in bedrooms and bathrooms to mix it up a bit!

  • We did the same - Rever Pewter through almost everywhere (really...everywhere except kids' rooms) with the intent to eventually change colors in the master and bathrooms and office and such over time, as they were decorated.

I did not love it at first. I was so worried. But I went with it and I'm so glad - it works with contemporary and classic, works with anything in the beige-taupe-brown family as well as black, white and grey (our house is very monochromatic). It changes with the light and really looks different in every room.

In the end, I absolutely love it.

  • It looks great!!!
