The painters are painting it in our main living spaces right now and we are really liking it---a very true light gray, very crisp and airy, a nice contrast to our dark floors and cabinets.

We did the same - Rever Pewter through almost everywhere (really...everywhere except kids' rooms) with the intent to eventually change colors in the master and bathrooms and office and such over time, as they were decorated.
I did not love it at first. I was so worried. But I went with it and I'm so glad - it works with contemporary and classic, works with anything in the beige-taupe-brown family as well as black, white and grey (our house is very monochromatic). It changes with the light and really looks different in every room.
In the end, I absolutely love it.
