Plans for the day?

I woke up with a bad migraine this morning so I'm just relaxing right now before I start doing any other work/cleaning around the house.  And I want to bake a batch of blueberry muffins, but aside from that I think it's going to be a low key day.

What about everyone else?

Re: Plans for the day?

  • I made a chocolate oven baked pancake for breakfast.

    Maybe a park?

    Bake some chocolate sugar cookies

Figure out dinner...I'm thinking .Vienna hotdogs on the grill sound good for the beautiful weather in Chicago today.

Grade papers to get grades done for Monday.

  • Menu planning, pre cooking/prepping for many of the week's meals, grocery shopping.

I just finished burying a 50 ft extension cord.  I never knew I would be so proficient at pick-axing.   I think I'll forgo my morning jog.

Next up - landscaping the bushes around our arena/gazebo.  Gotta strike while we're feeling motivated.

I need to do some lesson planning, too.  It was on my to-do list yesterday but I only got 1 class, 1 day done.  Fail.  No

  • We are trying to use up a lot of things in our fridge.  I think I'm going to get some bread for panini and we are going to use some of the corn beef in those.

I still have a log of goat cheese that needs to be used up. I think I'd like to make a pizza with goat cheese and arugula, maybe walnuts or pinenuts.

I think we are relaxing at home for most of the day :) yesterday we did gardening.

  • Would love to take my new bike out for a spin today but so far it's cloudy and drizzling.  Hoping that'll stop soon.  Other than that, we've started our spring cleaning so will continue with that today.  I do need to boil some eggs for my first ever home made cobb salad.  I'm new to this whole salad eating/making business.  Embarrassed

  • Made pancakes for the boys for what might be the last time here at the condo <tear>.

DH is off to baseball practice, I'm cleaning up the kitchen, and DS is watching "Super Why".

I'll get back to packing in a bit, and have to figure out our freezer purging meal plan for the week as well. I'd like us to get out to the park, but I'm not sure if that will happen. I would also like to plant my butt on the balcony with a margarita, but that might be a stretch as well. Gotta have goals, right?

  • Morning ladies! I just finished making my menu and grocery list. I'm about to head out to the store. This afternoon should be pretty low key, just laundry and other little chores, maybe I'll sit out on the deck and read since it's so nice. Tonight we're going out for dinner and to a concert with friends.

  • I'm on day 2 of a cold which is so annoying since we have a lot to get done. DD's birthday party is in 2 weeks and I have family coming in for a week as well.

Today - finish making ice cream for the party, finish favor boxes and banner, made peperoni pizza puffs, and now I'm off to a quick trip to the store while DD naps so when she wakes up we can go outside and play. It's 74 degrees out in Maine in March, woohoo!!!

  • Slept in, went grocery shopping, made late breakfast, need to clean mbr/bath, jog and do a DVD and relax. Jog will be later this evening as its hot now, will do DVD soon then clean. Relaxing now watching f1!
  • I went for a 2 mile run this morning. First time in about 2 weeks since I injured my knees.

Had a lovely lunch with BF and now we're getting ready to enjoy more of the beautiful day by taking our dogs to the park for a walk

    Might make some cupcakes later

I really should portion out stuff for smoothies and get some snacks together for this week too.

  • Not much - my cold is still kicking my @ss and it's a rainy day, so we're just staying home and making roasted tomato & garlic soup for later.

  • I was up at 4:45 this morning (ugh, no reason why). I haven't felt great so we just laid low today, hanging around the house and out back.
  • Laidback day....hung out this am at the house, went to eat lunch at chinese buffet, hit the mall for a stroll and playtime for DS, nap, going for a bike ride in a bit.
