Recipe ideas for fresh ginger?
I'm hankering for something to eat that has lots of strong ginger flavor. Any ideas on what I could put together using a 4-inch piece of fresh ginger that I want to use?
Nutmeg, cilantro, sage, mint, thyme... these are a few of my favorite things!

We have four children; one left us too soon.
Re: Recipe ideas for fresh ginger?
I'd make stir fry! Our local Thai place sautes pieces of chicken with strips of fresh ginger, and mushrooms. It's really comforting.
Or make a Thai-inspired Ginger Chicken soup (don't have a recipe, but I bet google does)
You could also make homemade pickled ginger as a condiment.
