how to save (my family's own) photo Christmas cards?

I'm doing some spring cleaning out, and came across extra photo Christmas cards from this year.  This was our first year with a baby, so it was the first year we've done the photo card thing.  I guess I should recycle most of the extras, but I was thinking it would be neat to save the a card from each year.  Does anyone do this?  What format do you use?  Scrapbook, I've seen a keyring thing, frame, any other ideas?

Re: how to save (my family's own) photo Christmas cards?

  • I've been putting one card (whether it be his birthday invite, birth announcement, Christmas photo card, ect.) from our left over piles into my sons memory box. Otherwise, I've been recycling the left overs if I don't want them, which I haven't found a reason to keep the extra yet.

  • i save all photo cards we get (xmas, birthday invites, etc) from anyone and our own, in a large scrapbook. I don't do anything fancy with it- i just put them all into it... and add on each year- it's so much fun to look through and see how my family and my friend's families ahve changed over the years.

I just can't throw out photos... it pains me.

I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

  • I put our own in a Christmas scrapbook, along with pictures of our tree, other favorite photos, and cute stories, etc.

I also save the photo cards we get of others and put them into our regular photo albums.

  • I think a memory box sounds like the easy way to go. You can decide in the future if you want to put in some sort of book.
