I really meant this poll as NDR because of my thing I'm "over". But I figured people can do it DR if they want. So what is something you are over? Doesn't matter what it is. Share!
For me- I am O.V.E.R Adele. Yep.. I said it. I think she is extremely talented. And as a musician myself, I can say she has an incredible voice. I am just so over hearing her on the radio for every other song!

I'm over the "Safety Police" Live a little people. While you're at it..let your kids live a little too.
I'm over having a closet full of on sale clothes. Sometimes I just want I want and some of the full price stuff/barely on sale stuff are the items I wear the most anyways. (So says the girl that just dropped a ton on a Northface Hoodie she really wanted and a pair of Pumas).
Along those same lines, I'm over people that get dressed up for Target and the grocery store. By no means do I suggest wearing your pjs, but if you want to, that's fine by me. Where do you people live that jeans and T-shirts are not acceptable Target clothes?
I'm over trying to have a perfectly clean, well organized everything fixed house. Too much stress. Too much work. I'd like to live in my house without a project once in awhile. The Nest is the only place where anyone cares about this. My IRL just want a front step and a beer!
I'm over people blaming the obesity epidemic on something/someone/HFC/soda. Moderation and good choices people (health problems aside of course..you all know what I"m referring too). And get outside while we're at it too!
I'm over part of the green movement being anti-regular agriculture. If some of the "activists" would take a look into what happens on a normal farm on any given day, they'd be shocked to find we're fighting for the same thing and have always done the practices they b*tch about wanting done the most. (That's as far as this one goes. Flame away, but I'm tired of talking about it!)

I'm over some of my try-too-hard hipster friends and their extremely questionable, "but I make it cool" style choices. Seriously, those shoes are fug and the NEON laces aren't making it better. And glasses should COMPLIMENT your face, no one looks good in 80's grandma glasses. And WTF did you do to your hair?! Have you ever heard of a flattering cut?! Choppy, asymmetrical cuts are NOT GOOD! ::headdesk:: No one makes THAT cool.
I'm wayyyy over this extended unemployment bullsh!t. I can't find anyone to hire for our 6 open positions because they're far too comfortable on unemployment.... seriously?!

I'm over other people telling me who I should be legally allowed to marry. If you're again gay marriage, don't have one! As far as ruining the sanctity of marriage... ummm I think some straight politicians have demonstrated that straight people have screwed that up all on their own...
I'm over parents who negotiate with their LO... You're the parent... act like one! It's ok to say "Because I'm the Mommy, that's why!" BTW... read Piaget, your 2yo can not reason yet, sorry... it's not developmentally appropriate!
I'm over No Child Left Behind... Guess what... some children are not going to meet "proficient" in every area on your standardized test and that's ok! It does not mean that child is being left behind. Stop focusing on "deficit education" and find a child's strengths. Just because they can't do algebra in 8th grade does not mean they are not "smart" or won't be successful! Maybe they will be an amazing art teacher, successful plumber, diva singer, fabulous hair dresser or the best Mom in the whole world!

Thanks! Yea, it was planned. We weren't planning on it until next month, but stuff came up and now seemed like the best time. I have two more weeks and then I am done. I cannot wait!!

I am 'over' kid birthday parties that rival the royal wedding. It doesn't take much for a kid to feel special and have fun at their own party. People shouldn't feel like they have to bankrupt themselves for a party.
Double agreed!! Especially about kids being the boss. The kids in my 4th grade class have smartphones, ipads, laptops in their rooms, kindles, and are given everything they could possibly want. I heard a dad tell a kid that if he moved up to a higher math group, he'd give him $300!!! FFS!
We just wasted TWO WEEKS on standardized tests, and my students were about to lose it by the end. It isn't even a fair test. The questions are written in a way that tries to trick the kids, they have to write about crap you would never write about in the real world, and they can't look at our classroom tools and resources to help them (you know, because no one ever uses resources in the real world! *sarcasm*). Not to mention they are tested on the grade level standards when there's still 3 months of the school year left! STUPID.
I'm over politicians pretending like they're "experts" in everything and therefore they should be able to make decisions for other people. For example, politicians telling women what they should and shouldn't do, telling schools and teachers what they're doing wrong, straight politicians telling gay people what they should and should not be allowed to do, rich politicians assuming that no one needs help with health care just because they don't, assuming that "poor" = "lazy" etc. They all just need to STFU, understand that they don't know everything, and try to understand someone else's perspective.
I'm also over disgusting things being snuck into food. No one wants to eat pink slime!
I'm actually kinda over big themed little kid birthday parties. Really they aren't going to remember the circus themed 3 year old party with 25 kids they probably won't be friends with after they turn 7.
I am over sunburst mirrors, especially homemade ones with paint stirrers from Home Depot.
