care.com for pet sitting?
We're going away for two weeks this summer. I don't want to board my dog, I'd rather find someone willing to take him into their home. Has anyone used care.com? I've done a search, but people only list their hourly rate. What price would you expect for two weeks in a low col area?
If not care.com, where else can I look?

2012 Reading Challenge
I've never used care.com, but we found our pet sitter through our rescue group (the pet sitting company is a big supporter of theirs). Make sure that the company/pet sitter is insured and bonded. You could also ask for recommendations from your veterinarian.
Our pet sitter comes and stays at our house, so it's different from what you're looking for. It's $75 a night which is a little pricey but is well worth the peace of mind that we get knowing our dogs are comfortable and in their own home.
We used PetSit.com to find our daily dog walker (who also does overnight care).
Ask at your vet, too -- some vet techs do pet sitting to make some extra cash.
