**Kate** (& Britlee too!)
We're going to MB again in 9 weeks (!!!!!!!!!!!) and I was wondering what you thought of Barefoot Landing. We just went to Broadway at the Beach last year. I was looking at the reptile zoo and maybe grabbing lunch/dinner there too. Also-what places did you eat at/do that you liked??

Woohoo! I love Barefoot Landing. I actually prefer it over Broadway. There's great shops there and you can see some wildlife around the boardwalk bridges (there seriously are alligators in the water!).
I've not been to the reptile thing there, but then again, it's not really my kind of thing, my grandparents have been and they thought it was really interesting. I've heard pretty good things about it.
As for dining, I highly highly recommend River City Cafe if you are into a good hamburger. It just a really fun place to eat and you get to look back over the Intercoastal Waterway. Beware if you have any kind of peanut allergy though... Part of they're thing is to have peanuts on the tables.
Californnia pizza is also very good for a lunch option. There are a ton of other places to eat there, but I've not had any experiences with them.
Depening on you time and how much the day you want to spend there, I'd also recommend seeing who is at the House of Blue (never been but they've had some awesome groups there) or who is at the Alabama Theater.
Ooo, and don't forget to buy some salt water taffy at Wee R Sweets!
I'm trying to talk M into a week vacation there sometime this summer, but we have to see how things play out with his school work...
We liked Barefoot Landing. It's pretty much just a quieter version of Broadway at the Beach. I like going through all the stores so I think it's worth an afternoon.
We had the condo when we were there so we didn't really eat out that much (we were also South of the main drag. There was a great Mexican restaurant on the main road near Myrtle Beach proper. I don't remember the name, but I'm pretty sure it was pink!
