Working parents: share your exercise routine?
After being laid off for 3.5ish months (during which I picked up running / strength training again), I'm going back to work FT on Wednesday. Yay for having an income again, but I'll now have to balance a full time job, a spouse (whose job requires even more hours), and a very active toddler.
Please share your routine -- I need some inspiration! Thanks

I'm fortunate enough to work from home 3 days out of the week but my schedule is as follows.
MWF - Cross Training; Either during lunch or after monkey goes to sleep around 7:30
T Th - Running; Run early morning or after monkey goes to sleep. Usually its night because I have to drive to work super early these days
Saturday - Long runs in the morning before Liv wakes up.
My goal is to never miss out on family time or make it very limited. Therefore I try to workout when she is napping or in bed for the night. That being said this means I gave up TV. I don't watch really TV anymore. Instead I workout.
Yes,I'm smiling...I'm a marathoner!

I have two kids, one in Kindergarten & one in preschool. On weeks when DH isn't traveling, I try to work out either at lunch time or in the evenings (after the kids go to bed, so around 8:00 pm) on our treadmill at home. Sometimes the occasional morning workout (5:00 am).
When DH travels, it limits me to pretty much exclusively evening workouts, which I'm not a fan of, but what can you do?
I work long days in the office M, T, Th, and Fridays from home (DS in daycare those days). My schedule is as follows:
M- rest
T- Crossfit 7pm (DH watches DS)
W- run mid-day during DS's nap
TH- Crossfit 6:30pm (DH watches DS)
F- run whenever I can during the day
SA- run mid-day during DS's nap
SU- Crossfit 9:30am (DH watches DS)
I give up family and tv time in the evenings and work/chore time during DS's nap- but totally worth it.
There really is no routine yet. I get my working out done whenever I can. Generally, it is after the kids go to bed on the treadmill. When DH is home, we take turns. He has a wacky schedule so it is easier for him to have alone time to work out.
I work Mon to Fri 9-5. I do most of my runs after work. I am lucky that DH is home with kids and he will start supper or whatever needs to be done while I do my runs.
I am trying to wake up early to do my strength before work, but haven't got there yet.
I work in my long run on Sun, whenever DH is home to watch DD (5) or if my other two are home they watch her.
