This room is still far from done, I'm working (slowly) on painting the lowboy still and need to actually hang the art sitting on the floor lol
But I bought these curtains.... and I don't know how I feel. I love the pattern and colors but I usually go for just a couple of colors in my fabrics... this is a major departure from the norm for me. Does this look ok in this room, you think? (there's white faux board & batten hidden behind the lowboy, and our table is a white tulip table with wood chairs so I don't THINK it's too dark (which is why I went with this curtain instead of a white + other color pattern), but I'm second guessing myself I guess. Anyone want to validate this choice for me?
Bonus- this is what happens when I paint inside and leave the paint can lid on the counter. Which is SUPPOSED to be off limits to my jerk cat.
(that trail lead across the stove, on the sink and up on the windowsill over the sink, btw. ::headdesk::)
Re: PIP- what do you think of these curtains?
First, I love the fact that kitty wanted to help you paint. My cat was helping me type my thesis today...
I really love the wall color and I think the colors in the curtain play well with the wall color. It looks like you are going for a vintage/modern funky look and I think your color choices and the pattern in those drapes work really well. Is orange your accent color?
Orange is my... everything color? It's everywhere in my house, it's my favorite
Thanks- I think I just needed a little validation lol!

I love them!! There is a similar panel at World Market (or it might honestly be this one) but I couldn't wrap my head around paying the price for them when I could make them.
I love that your not afraid of color!
