1st Bday Party Review

We had my daughter's bday today.  It had a butterfly theme.

I made the obligatory banner

The sweets were a hit- a couple kinds of jelly beans, robins eggs, peanut butter eggs, hershey kisses

I did some simple apps

Then a simple meal- the hoagie melt was a HUGE hit.  It was a piece of cake to put together and bake and everyone loved it.  Then we did a broccoli tortellin salad and a fruit tray.  MIL did deviled eggs and sMIL did a large salad.

 

I also did some butterfly pb&j's.  Well, 4 butterflies.  They were annoying so I only did 4 and just cut the rest in half.

One thing I didn't think about was recycling.  I should have put a clean bin on our deck instead of people traipsing through the laundry room to the garage.  And TP.  I always forget to put out extra tp.  I'm an under in a family of overs so I can always tell when someone else has replaced the roll.

Everything looks great, 6!  Looks like a delicious lunch spread - wish I had been there - I had Life for lunch yesterday lol.

Your daughter's adorable.  I love the butterfly outfit she's wearing.

My fiesta is this coming weekend, so it's my serious plan to have everything done early to take nice photos to share.  I have high hopes of fabulousness lol.
