Do you feel weird eating alone in a restaurant?

 I used to when I was younger, probably because it wasn't the "cool" thing to do, but once I got older I don't mind. Especially after having Kiley and when she was an infant and I needed to get out and go to the mall and had lunch there or something, it's pretty easy to get over.

It depends.  If I am traveling I have no problems with it but I stick to smaller restaurants.  Otherwise I feel a little weird.  Once Cody starts on real food I will probably feel less weird but then again I'm not completely alone.

The exception to this is at the little local restaurant/bar we go to all the time (well, a lot less now that we have Cody).  I would go sit in the bar, order dinner, and have a couple drinks.  There are a few locals that are always there and we are regulars so there is always someone to talk to.

I usually only do it when I'm traveling for work. And, like Shelley, I stick to small places like Panera (and then I bring my laptop to keep me busy). I feel less weird if I have my laptop.

I'm with Dani- I either bring my laptop or a text book to keep me occupied for a while. Which means I only eat alone at places where they won't mind if I'm sitting at the table for a while, so Panera or somewhere like that. I'm getting better at doing things on my own in general like going to movies and stuff. I love having company, but I really don't mind anymore.

Yeah I  def. wouldn't go into a fancy  rest or even like an Applebee's alone, Just like panera and those types.

Like y'all, I definitely wouldn't go somewhere where I had to say to the hostess, "1 please". I can go to a place like Panera or fast food or something and sit by myself but would want my Kindle or my phone at least.

Just small, quick places.  I worked at Friendly's and always felt bad for people coming in alone.  Some came in the same night every week

I asked Drew this question last night. I figured since he's in his car so much and has to stop to grab lunch he'd say yes, but no. He'd rather eat Subway in his car with the radio on, in the Subway parking lot, than sit alone at a table.
