Lifting

I really need to start lifting or something so I can tone what I lose so it does not become flabby. I dont know the first thing about this,

  • Lifting is something that you want to learn under the guidance of someone experienced, lest you seriously damage yourself. Please seek out a trainer at least initially.

    If you are completely new to strength training, body weight exercises are a great way to start. 

  • I recommend the book The New Rules of Lifting for Women.

  • I'd suggest either working with a trainer or taking a group class to start so you can learn good form.
