I like randoms. 75.8% of the time, every thought I have is bizarrely random.
I did not get anything close to enough sleep last night. I'm going to be very random today.
I had a 10 am meeting and when it started I was all "Yay when this meeting is over I can go to lunch!"
And then the meeting lasted 16 minutes.
Booooooo.

I'm looking for recipes via the google and pintrest because I'm bored with all our normal stuff. I really want to use the crockpot more but I just don't know if I'll the recipes. There is so much cream of whatever soup used it seems too....creamy.
We bought a new TV this weekend. It's fancy and nice but we don't have HD in our bedroom yet and it looks all weird and yucky. Now my problem is watching all the shows I record in there before we get the new HD box. First World Problems.
here, I have an OOTD question. does this look dumb with brown tights?
Coming back to work after a 4 day weekend blows.
dude, i didn't sleep last night either! i had the worst insomnia. i didn't get into bed until like midnight to start with, and i kept waking completely up, getting out of bed, going into the bathroom or randomly padding around the house.
then i realized how badly i needed sleep when i put coffee creamer into my water glass at work.
tonight we're going to see Bruce Springsteen and that is marvellous.
over the weekend alison spent all her time doing her favorite things; 1) running up and down the hallway for up to twenty minutes at a time, making us race her, 2) climbing up things like a friggin spider monkey (sunday morning i went to get her up and she was perched in a wicker basket on her changing table playing her cat piano. she looked like a pirate playing a sea shanty in the ship's crow's nest. omg! then later at 'nap' time i heard her saying "I stuck!", ran up and found her up there again, only with her leg wedged under the rail. i about died imagining horrific what ifs. That effing table is OUT OF THERE) and 3) being obstinate about not wanting to take naps and other things.
she also ate a green sugar cookie on saturday for st patrick's day and we learned in a spectacular fashion why kids and food with tons of food coloring don't mix. Ho ho ho, green giant!
I don't get the Bruce Springsteen love. I will be jealous of you seeing Pulp instead.
I feel like I'm getting my period, bethie. Can we commiserate?
My mommy comes on Saturday and I can't wait.

Ha. Ethan is getting pretty good at the climbing as well. Stupid kids.
He's been a clingy mess since Zane got home. He freaks out if either of us leave the room. We have to both be in his line of sight at all times. Yesterday, he refused to take a nap for pretty much the first time ever. He screamed bloody murder both times we laid him down, and I finally resorted to throwing him in the car to drive him around while I got gas which thankfully worked. Then, he woke up an hour later screaming bloody murder and wouldn't calm down for anything. It was scary. I just sat there holding this squirming, screaming, sobbing baby for 45 minutes while he screamed "mommy mommy mommy".
I don't think it looks dumb no. But, since your top is on the lighter side and more springy, I would probably go with a lighter tight.
Mashed, I think it's fine, if a little springy on top and wintery on bottom. But that's par for the course in cold climates in March, no?
I think a darker cardigan might help even things out.

I'm tired today too. Maggie has strep (Mike called to tell me this 4 hours into my drive to Fenton's Friday) so she's not sleeping well. Then Owie had a bad dream and woke up screaming, which he never does. Plus it's hot as hades in the house thanks to the strange 80 degree temps we have right now. Rough night for KB.
For less then ten cents a day, you can feed a hungry child.
I just stepped on Emily's Tender with such force the outline of the wheels are clearly visible on the bottom of my foot. I hate Thomas trains, I hate them so hard. And I hate my dark green floor in my ugly kitchen even more for camouflaging it.
I have lots of hate right now.
TMI confession.
I've been using The Clete's voice a lot lately and yesterday I used it to talk dirty to my H before and during sex. He finally had to tell me it wasn't sexy and I was going to make him hate that dog.

We're having our AC ducts replaced. The opening to our crawl space is about 18 inches wide by 12 inches high. The two guys that are here are...much larger than that. I'm amazed that they managed to get down there.
In related news, the repair work tally on this house that we swore we were going to move into as-is is creeping into 5 figures. We're supposed to be saving money for the real renovation in a couple years, but we got a little carried away with stupid stuff.
Crap...I Mean Crafts
This is seriously the funniest thing I have read in a long time.
That's hilarious, Mashed.
I like your outfit today.
OMFG. I love you.
