Stretch Mark Q

I gained all this weight about 5 yrs ago and very rapidly, at that time I had terrible stretch marks, over time though theyve calmed down and been less noticable. HOWEVER, now that Im losing weight they are super noticable again, not red, but almost stark white and very defined. Has anyone had success with Mederma or Bio-Oil or something similar, or is it impossible to make them look better?

Re: Stretch Mark Q

  • Mederma didn't do crapola for me. I did find 2 remedies that worked for me though. First was pure cocoa butter. The second was buying vitamin E capsules and popping them and rubbing the oil on the skin. Both were very effective for me. One tip to help speed the fading along is to put the chosen remedy on  as many times a day as you can. The moister you keep it, the quicker they fade. I don't know why that is, but it seems to be true. Even Mederma says to use it 4 times a day.
