Want to hear my gross, running-related confession?

While everyone else in the country has been enjoying nice spring weather, it's been sucking in Seattle.  But today - today it was sunny!  And as far as I can tell it is the only day that it is supposed to not rain, so I hurriedly packed my gym bag this morning for a lunchtime run.  I was on autopilot; it was Monday; I had an 8:30 meeting and a toddler who was none too pleased about having to hustle out the door.

So, naturally, I forgot something.

My sports bra. 

And I evaluated - I tested.  I thanked the lord for the not-quite-B cups that nursing left me with and said fluck it, and went out the door. I ran in my calvin klein fancy padded bra with the tiny straps.

And it was a GREAT run! Just my usual 4 miler and I was taking it easy after the weekend, but whatever.  So now I'm sitting in a slightly damp bra at my desk. shhhhhh.

(on another note - I think someone spiked my breakfast because I felt like I could have run foreeevvvveeeer - almost slightly drunk feeling.  Is that normal??)

Ha ha - I had that problem once and my bikini top had to make do.  It worked fine although I don't think I'll make a habit out of it.  

I think nice weather sometimes makes all the difference!  Give me a 50 degree day with no wind and I feel the same way.

This, except . . . my experience was so uncomfortable! Now I keep a spare sports bra packed at all times, just in case.

I've had to do that too.  It's not something I would prefer to do again, but in a pinch it worked.
