RHW of ATL- 3/18 **spoiler**
Did anyone watch last night?
I will admit that I'm getting a little tired of the RHW shows. There is only so much bickering between grown women I can take before it's not entertaining anymore.
However, I thought watching Kandi this week was very refreshing. She sent a very positive message to young girls watching. Props to her for having a real job and following her dreams.

i feel like anymore i just tolerate the episodes to get to the reunion drama (my favorite part).
wth, was up with cynthia biting her sister's head off when it was her own husband who was acting like a complete jerkoff at the party? i know her family has been about as unsupportive as you can get, but peter was really instigating that night... i dunno. i'm not feeling this season for some reason.
I actually blame Cynthia's family - both sister and mother have said and done horrible things regarding Cynthia's marriage and I do not blame Peter for wanting nothing to do with them. I would do the same.
Her family needs to realize she is a grown woman and can make her own decisions.
Mom and sister appear to be dysfunctional.
I was thinking the same thing about the RHW shows-it's too much bickering for my taste. I mean, how much can the producers spin to make an hour long episode? I am over RHATL and RHOC. Most of them aren't even wives at all! LOL
Peter is a jerk.
ITA! Although Cynthia's family is not supportive of her marriage, it was Peter that caused problems at the party when he got everyone's attention to make a toast and said stuff like 'Welcome family, friends... and Mel' to the entire group. He purposely tried to humiliate Mel in front of all their guests- I just wish she wouldn't have taken his bate.
I think Cynthia's family has every right not to like Peter. Besides the financial issues which may or may not be in the past, he is emotionally hurtful. He was not supportive of her business, refused to help set up the studio, told Cyn that she 'f'ed up' when the invites went out late and left her launch party without even saying goodbye. All while Cynthia continued to support his new business venture after he lost her investment money on another failed business just a year before. That is a whole lot for her family to forgive especially when he makes absolutely no effort at all with them.
An American Girl's Travels
I read on the AJC RHOA recap that this is the longest season yet- we are on episode 17. I think that is also contributing to my fatigue. It just keeps going and going...nowhere.

RHOA jumped the shark when they all stopped being friends with each other (or, at least, tolerated each other for the cameras). Single Kim was pretty much the life of that party, and once she settled down it got really boring really fast.
Regarding Cynthia: her mother, sister and husband all suck. It's not even the fun kind of dysfunction that keeps you sticking around, it's the soul-sucking kind. She'd be better off cutting them all out and starting over from scratch. I wonder if we'll ever figure out why she's so drawn to azzhole personalities.
