Anyone here have a black/white bathroom? Or a black/white/blueish bathroom?
We are remodeling our bathroom. We have a black/white shower curtain that I want to keep.
We're thinking about doing white tile flooring w/ black grout, and then wainscoting on the walls w/ a light blue color on top. Who knows!
Do you guys have any pics of your bathroom?
Re: Anyone here have a black/white bathroom? Or a black/white/blueish bathroom?
I like the idea of black, white and blue... but I would never do black grout on white tile. It will just look dirty IMO.
I would either do black and white tile (I don't know the name of hte pattern, but there is a very common one that is a 30s retro that is mostly white but has some black accent pieces) with white grout or do white tile with white grout and then do black towels, with teh black and white curtain and blue walls.
Anyways-- I think it will be nice (minus the black grout)
Our bathroom has a white vanity, black countertop, blue walls and white wainscoting (this is before it was totally finished).
I have black and white hex tiles in my bath. White grout will look dirty quickly and black is too much contrast. We used Delorean Gray which works really well.
I have more pics here.
We used gray grout with our black/white hex tiles also. White just looks gross too fast, and Iike that the darker grout makes the tile shape pop out rather than just appear as a big expanse of white. We used one shade lighter than Delorean gray. I think it was Misty gray.
I adore these types of tiles. They add such style. Black and white sounds exciting with this tile. You could put such a fun retro flair into it if you wanted.
This is my inspiration bathroom.
