Moms with young kids in twin beds ?
Do you have a mattress protector (for wetness) on the mattress, or just a pad? DD is not PT yet but we are switching her to a twin bed. TIA!!!
Re: Moms with young kids in twin beds ?
I use a pretty thick mattress pad and then put a ..... I'm not sure what you call it, hahah. It's kind of like a waterproof matress pad except it just lays flat, it doesn't fit over the matress and it's smaller. I used it on our crib. Anyway, I put that on top of the mattress and the regular fitted mattress pad over that.
It's similar to this but smaller and thinner. The main thing is that nothing is plastic that crinkles when they move around on the bed.

I would recommend getting the whole mattress cover.
That is what I thought I bought, but it turns out I only got a pad which covers up a small section. DS1 sleeps like a monkey, he is all over the place, head to toe and back again. Inevitably he pees about an inch off the pad. ::shakes fist::

This. At Big Lots they have some that are made by Beautyrest that are pretty nice. You would never guess that they are waterproof.
