How do I change the template to another one I found on a different website?
Please explain this to me like I'm 5.
I thought blogger would be easy, but I'm completely lost. :-/
Re: Blogger Template Help
At first I thought that this said Booger Template.
2012 Reading Challenge
I've done that, but it only gives me the option to use some of their templates and change the background color. I'm trying to use a free template I found on another site.
I've googled and youtubed this and did exactly what other people's directions said, but something isn't working out right. I can't find a code for the new template and keep getting an error.
I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong or the template is messed up. Hhmm...
This is irrationally pissing me off.
lol
I've been wanting to start a blog for a while and got it in my head that I was going to get this thing figured out today so when we get back from our trip I can write about it.
My day is ruined!
2012 Reading Challenge
Design > Edit HTML> delete all their crap >C/P your crap
I tried this, but I have no text to C&P from the template I want. I keep downloading stuff but I can't find it. Am I an idiot? Maybe I need that Blogging For Dummies book. lol
P.S. I'm writing you back on FB right now. I'll send you the details!
Ok. I figured I should just write this here too so if any helpful lurkers want to chime in.
Here's the template I want: http://btemplates.com/2010/blogger-template-world-traveler/demo/
I clicked "Download" and all that jazz. Now it's on my computer, but the only thing I can find is a "Read Me" text that isn't helpful (just directions for what to do) and another file that shows an error in my browser if I click on it. There has to be text somewhere to copy and paste into the HTML thingy on Blogger, right? Does this make any sense? I'm so clueless, lol.
