"Glass Mosaic Tiles" Fad or Forever?
Glass Mosaic tiles have really come a long way in the past 5 years. Just a few years ago, it was unheard of to use glass mosaic tiles for a Kitchen Backsplash. Today it is the norm. With all these glass mosaic tiles popping up online and in stores... the big question is when will the bubble burst? Another question is how do you pick the right one? Well I must confess, I own an online tile business, as well as a brick and mortar tile store. I have tiles coming out of my ears. It's what I do, it's all I know. Anyhow, getting back to what I was talking about. Is this glass mosaic tile thing a fad? And my answer is YES! But it will be a very long before that happens, and I personally like glass mosaics myself. So how do you choose? Do you go to Lowe's or Home Depot? Personally I have hated those stores long before I opened my own business. Don't get me wrong, I am not the little man with Big Box envy. I just don't think you can make a very informed decision at those stores. You can still find great deals at the little mom and pop shops that survive on good customer loyalty. Even though sometimes I feel that customers don't really care how much love I put into my business. But to the few that do, I go well out of my way to help them pick the PERFECT tile at a great price. Plus your helping the economy. Enough said. Love you guys!
