So recently I took a CNA class and during class our instructor was using me to demostrate taking a pulse. She kinda got red, then pale and asked if I was feeling ok. I said yes. She took my pulse again and told me that it was about 110 and irregular. My pulse likes to skip beats.
Anyway with the above info she advised me to see the doc, I do not have to have a referral or anything and as long as they take my insurance I am good. So should I start with my regular provider and get a work up done, or move into a cardiologist?
Also how does this effect running? Any suggestions are welcomed!
Re: Where should I start!
Start with your regular doc. Based on the diagnosis you'll have to ask your doc how it affects running/what you should or shouldn't do.
ETA: You'll prob need an EKG, maybe some labs.
