Tracking Exercise ? on MyfitnessPal

What activities do you track besides the obvious? I've been adding the walk that BF and I take our dogs on (It's usually an hour) but I feel like maybe I shouldn't be adding it to my exercise on myfitnesspal.

What makes you track an activity vs. not tracking it?

Re: Tracking Exercise ? on MyfitnessPal

  • I track it all. I wear my HRM for all workouts plus heavy cleaning/activities around the house. I was shocked the other day of cleaning three full baths and bedrooms how many cals I burned but I was moving. Sweating by the end. I track anything that raise my heart rate even a little bit. Lol little things like cooking dishes laundry grocery shopping no, but if my heart rate raises and stays up for a bit I count it. :-)
  • I set MFP to the 'sedentary' level and then track most things (yard work, dog walking, etc.), wearing a HRM when I can.
