I just filled my last BCP refill, which means I have to go to the gyno : which means I have to find a new one.
Anyway. Tell me three advantages and disadvantages of your BC. I've done some research but I wanna know what other people say.

Re: Crap.
Well, I hope you find a good gyno quickly!
For me, I have been on the BCP for so long that it's just automically routine and "normal" for me, and I don't want to change for fear of new side affects and all that.
Advantage: 1) I can go off it anytime I want, which is nice to have as option. 2) I have a VERY light period that only lasts 1-2 days, and I like to get it every month as reassurance that things are working "properly" and that I am indeed not pregnant. The actual period is a breeze, no cramping! 3) It's cheap, it works, and doesn't give me any weird side affects like weight gain or pyscho thoughts about murdering my loved ones.
Disadvantage: 1) having to take it every day (but if you brush your teeth everyday, how hard is that really?) and potentially minor freakout if you happen to miss a day 2) having to pay attention to certain meds that can counteract with it 3) I guess having to refill it all the time is a disadvantage. It's a regular thing, not something you just do and forget about for 6 months or a year.
I've been on Yaz for a while now and I really like it. My gyno gives me lots of extra packs and then basically said I can skip the placebos all the time, so I haven't had a period in about a year and it's GLORIOUS!
That said, I'm getting an IUD (Mirena) put in pretty soon. 5 years of no babies? Sign me up!
I'll let you all know how it goes. It should be within the next two months.

I'm on Zarah which is a generic for Yasmin. I've been on it for 3 years and have no complaints. (But I will list disadvantages since you asked)
Advantages:
1) NO BABIES
2) I didn't gain any weight. I've actually lost weight since I started, but that probably has more to do with my happiness level.
3) Period is regular. I start on the same day before lunch, every time.
Disadvantages:
1) Having to take it at the same time every day. It's not that I forget it, but I take it in the morning before work. So Sat/Sun, I have to get up just to take it. (Of course, then I go back to bed.)
2) The fact that antibiotics can make them ineffective. (That might be the case with all BC.)
3) I know there's a reason they want you to get a check up every year, but it's a hassle that the perscription is only good for 12 months.
