Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Remember when you could star a post? I miss that and the One Star Bandit.
Also, I really, really don't want to go to work today. You know, for one whole measly hour.
Re: S/O gold stars
Yessss! Ah, the good ol' days.
One hour!? That seems like such a waste, I don't blame you!
I don't really remember the gold stars but then again I don't pay attention to a lot of that stuff. Maybe they will fix the failing gold star in the emoticons box with the new format update... or maybe not.
How does a post get starred? When it gets a certain number of views?
I have 2.5 hours of work left. They are taking forever.
I *think* once it gets more than 25 replies it automatically gets a little buzzer, or if it gets over 200 views or something.
Nope, it used to be at the top of a post and other users would choose anywhere from 1-5 stars. People would get SO mad at only getting one star!
that could turn evil
Being able to see the view count is so weird to me. I'm used to TK. I think I like not knowing how many people are ignoring me. But I rarely start threads anyway, so it's not that big a deal.
I wasn't around for the starring though, but I do vaguely remember seeing a post secret about it once.
It did, all the time! People would get so butthurt over it, especially on TB. They'd be all "why does my post only have 1 star? who's being mean and doesn't like meeeeee?" It was awesome!
