Please rec a dog car restraint.
Will be traveling from Texas to Florida. Dog(27 pound Scottish terrier) will be riding between two car seats in the back of a jeep wrangler a small adult can fit between the car seats, but it's tight.

I have the Kurgo car harness for both of my dogs, and I have been pleased with it so far. However, it does run small according to most reviews and my experience - I had to get a size medium for both of my pugs (who are 17 and 19 lbs.). It's adjustable, and they are on the tightest setting, but I think the small would have been too small.
For a drive that long, I generally crate my dogs in the back seat or the way back (we have a hatchback with an open trunk) and secure the crates to something inside the car. That way they can sleep comfortably without having a harness on. If that's an option, you can consider doing that as well.

I wish there would be enough room for his crate, but with a double stroller and luggage space is already going to be tight.
