when you don't want to do your training run. At all. Dreading it all day.
You try and talk yourself out of going, but alas, lose the argument and just go.
And it sucks. The whole time you are thinking "why are my legs so heavy? Why am I running? This wasn't a good idea. I'm not really a runner. This sucks. It's really not fun. I hate this. I just want to quit".
But you don't. And then you get done and see you hated the run so much and just wanted it to be over that you PR your 5 mile time by 2 minutes.
Yeah, that's awesome.
*note* most of the time this doesn't happen. Almost always the run just sucks and I'm just proud to get the mileage done, but then, sometimes the stars align and this happens.
