Photo Canvas Things

Has anyone ordered on of those canvas/art things that you have your own photo printed on?

Were you happy with the quality? What company did you use?

Re: Photo Canvas Things

  • do you want the type with the wood frame

I ordered a canvas from artscow but it wasnt the type like an artist paint on it was just canvas

Something I could just hang on the wall. I get a lot of Groupons for them, but wasn't sure about the quality.
  • I think it all depends on the photo size how big it can stretch

This! If you've got a really great photo with a high quality camera, they look really great. I have a pic of my dog I've been meaning to do for quite some time.

The ones I've seen at Costco seem really good quality.

I would never put a cell phone pic (for example) on one, because the resolution wouldn't be as good.

  • canvas people has really good sales fairly regularly. i've never used them but a friend of mine has and she loved what she got.

they  key is just to make sure the picture is big enough so it doesnt come out all pixle-y

    Favorite thing about springimageNew Colors
  • I agree with Darkling and Lucky, the better quality/better resolution picture you start with, the better quality canvas you are going to have. My boss did one as a canvas throw and it came out really well. I am not quite sure about the wall hanging ones,

  • I used a Tippr (like Groupon) for CanvasPop for a Christmas gift for my parents. They loved it, it gives you a few options, it came out as great quality (imo), and shipped fast.

  • Canvas on Demand is amazing. There are groupons for them every month or so.

  • I have one from Shutterfly.  It was given to H and I as a wedding gift, it is a wedding picture of the two of us and it looks like its us in real life.  It is the largest one Shutterfly offers.  The print quality is very good and I've had it 5 years and no fading so far.  I've never even framed it, just hung it right on the wall.   I get shutterfly discounts all the time for that kind of stuff.
