Royal icing- Am I being too ambitious?
I have agreed to make cookies with royal icing for a friend's daughter's 3yo birthday this weekend. I will be piping and flooding in the same color, and no design work.
I plan to bake tonight, and pipe & flood tomorrow night. Party is Saturday @ 4pm.
This is my first time trying royal icing- am I being overly ambitious? Is it difficult, or am I being too worried for no reason?
Re: Royal icing- Am I being too ambitious?
I understand your worry, I was the same way the first time. (I have a major royal icing cookie addiction now....) I too did my first ones for an event and wondered what the heck I was thinking! LOL 70 onesie cookies for a baby shower.
You will be fine. The key is allowing plenty of time. GL and have fun!
