I'm invited to a bachelorette party, and the invitation says "dress to impress" for going out on the town. Now, I'm not talking totally trashy, but I'm thinking of tarting it up a bit. I'm reviewing my wardrobe in my head, and not much seems appropriate.

Just wear a dress that requires a cami in general public but wear it without the cami. Show off the girls!

I have the opposite problem, I have some kind of trampy clothes I would wear over 8 years ago in my single days still in my closet that I won't get rid of for a rare occasion just like this, but I fear I might be a POTATO if I am seen in public in such apparel.      So they are just useless and collecting dust.

I totally understand!  I'm thinking about what I want to bring to Vegas in April, and I don't have much that would be appropriate.  Time to go shopping I guess.

Hmmm...maybe you should try trendy rather than trampy?  How about a tunic belted with a big, fun belt over leggings and ankle boots?  You can accent with chunky jewelry and a big hat.

I'm not much of a tunic and leggings person. I have a LBD that I think will work and another dress that's more spring like that I could wear, depending on how the weather is that day.
