Also...easy crowd-friendly sides?
My family is HUGE. My aunt is hosting a get-together this weekend while we're in town and everyone is bringing sides/snacks. They tend to do pasta, chili, easy stuff that feeds a large group for cheap. I want to bring a side or two that's easy and preferably somewhat filling but I'm not that good at feeding large groups. I was thinking maybe some type of bread/muffin/biscuit and then something like homemade meatballs or a filling finger food. It has to be somewhat budget-friendly and easy to make a lot of.
You all have such amazing blogs that I thought maybe you could suggest something new for me to try!
Re: Also...easy crowd-friendly sides?
Also, my family tends to graze/snack all day so it won't necessarily be served alongside the main entree, which gives me more flexibility to do an appetizer, snack, etc.
made this last week - a big hit and feeds a ton of people - plus it stays in the crockpot - Hot Reuben Dip
Juice Box Wings
Zucchini-Ricotta Fritters
Cocktail Meatballs
my family is huge too so I hear what you're saying!

That's so funny...I actually made that exact reuben dip for our St. Paddy's party...and told myself I should make it more often...and still never even thought of it for this get-together. My family would love it too.
You are brilliant :P.
