I would like to request the removal of certain members' profiles after yesterday's appalling derogatory episode.
As a sign that such heinous behaviour against a single (not to mention faultless) member isn't tolerated.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but this damnable Nest Glitch stuff has slowed replies down tremendously.
I agree with what you're asking. Honesty without compassion is cruelty. Unfortunately, the Terms of Use were not violated yesterday, but like I said last night, Nesties/Bumpies can be banned for three days.
Rest assured the NG's have been notified of what went down yesterday.

Certain people may not have violated the Terms of the Agreement, but this is still a board ran by the XO Group Corporation and they can make a decision to ban a member who showcases that level of despicable conduct regardless. I would say her language was vulgar though. Straight from the terms.

The bolded part sounds a lot like the "no offense but I'm going to order you to act this way" that started the whole thing. Not that I'm dwelling on it.

I agree whole heartedly with you chusum. By only banning someone that obviously intended to be that cruel and cold hearted for 3 days is just a plain waste of time. How can you sit back a just brush off the fact all those horrible things that were said????!?!?! I also agree that she will prob just create a new account as someone else, prob one of her many personalities, but letting her get away with her actions is not fair to others who come her for support- knowing that any minute you can be bullied by not 1 but many. Stop taking the easy way out and do what is right!!!

"Otherwise harmful language" can be widely interpreted, but I think calling someone a c*** or saying that they deserved to be raped by their father counts as such, no?
I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish here besides perpetuate the drama that's been blown out of proportion by everyone BUT the BNOTB girls. I hope the powers that be take a long hard look at what transpired and in the order it occurred. The OP definitely did not warrant the response it received.

Stellina - you're new, I remember that you posted on Married Life. The nest pretty much never bans IP addresses and is very tolerant in its Terms of Use. And inconsistent. You can almost say anything here and unless it's a publication of someone's personal information or a threat it tends to stay. Some moderators are more trigger happy than others, and every board has a sort of mutual standard on deleting threads that are offensive. Once I had a screen name banned for saying that Asians are bad drivers. But you can make a screen name instantly these days and you don't even need a valid e-mail address. If you get your panties in a wad easily ... you might want to try iVilliage.
I am not telling you what to do, I'm just making a recommendation to you to save your frustration and protests, nothing will happen. I've been here for eight years, I'm just telling you like it is.
Here's a pearl that it takes many nesties a long time to learn and some never do:
Nesties don't make Nest rules, there are no rules with the exception of the terms of use. One can have a preference, but honestly the "enforcers" (like alabaster) just come off looking like giant a-holes who need a power trip about something.
