I have the morning off tomorrow...

But it's to take my mom to the doctor to get the stitches out from her torn rotator cuff surgery last Friday.  Not sure how well I'm gonna do if I have to see any of it, lol.  Plus I have to go in to work at 12:30.  Blech.  Anyway, T&P for my mom tomorrow are appreciated!  We're hoping he gives us a good report on her progress and tells us about the start of her PT in another week or two.

  • Thanks to all who are following along and sending T&Ps! She has improved drastically from the crying, hurting, medicated mess of this time last week. The stitches came out today just fine. The doctor had us start passive physical therapy at home today (meaning that SHE doesn't actually move her arm, but someone else moves it for her). He showed us two very simple exercises that we have to do for her 20 times each twice a day for the next 2 weeks. I have to go back over to my parents' house after work so I can show my dad how to do it. There was some wincing and she said she was tight and sore in her shoulder afterwards, but that's the whole point of this exercise, to get rid of the tightness. So yeah, doing pretty good!
