Can I use Rub n' Buff on a wood frame?
I want to paint a white IKEA frame that I have using Rub n' Buff--I am after a subtle gold effect. Would this stuff work on a white wood frame? Is Michael's about the only place I can get this stuff?
Re: Can I use Rub n' Buff on a wood frame?
Do you mean you want to coat the entire surface? Rub 'n' Buff wouldn't really be the right product for this. It's best for picking out accents.
You could spray paint the whole frame in a darker/more subtle gold, then pick out the highlights in Rub 'n' Buff lighter gold. Or mix up acrylic craft paints to a color you like and brush it on.
