Bedding to coordinate with headboard
I made a headboard with this fabric: http://store.fabriccarolina.com/Items/PP%20Suzani%20Denton%20Nile%20Denton I painted the wall behind my bed dark brown. What color bedding would you put with it? A solid color, or a pattern.
I have some extra fabric that I thought I could make a couple pillows out of, would it be too much brown if I had a brown duvet and then just had pillows to bring in color?
Re: Bedding to coordinate with headboard
I love the fabric! So pretty! I would definitely go for solid. Since the walls are brown already I would go for either the white (easy to find) or the the pale blue (which I love). The pale blue is soooo soothing and relaxing to me! But it might be hard to find bedding in that color. You can definitely add color with solid pillows.
Love the fabric!
I guess it depends on which colors make you feel the way you want to in the room, but if it was my room, I would not use brown on the bed at all, unless it was for a pillow/pillow back/trim, or maybe a blanket. I would either look for a small scale pattern or a tone on tone pattern in either the rust or the pale blue, and get the opposite color for the sheets.
Thanks! I like the idea of one color duvet and the other for the sheets. When I saw this fabric I had to have it!
