I'm looking for the same - trying to get some ideas on living room layout in an open concept floor plan.  i really don't want hte back of the couch facing kitchen.....am i being a little weird about that?  lol  i want a 'flow'

Looking for one that would allow me to input the room size, closet/door/window location, etc.  and then allows me to place/move furniture in the room to decide the best arrangement.

Basset furniture has one of these. It is line drawings/floor plan, so it's not like you can put in patterns etc but it's easy to use and I think it's quite useful. It's not baby focused, but you could use it to layout any room.

Google sketchup is awesome. it's free and spending the 20 minutes on the tutorials to figure it out is worth it. Seeing everything in 3D and to scale is the best.
