What's Cooking?
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Facebook 'how to' question

Is there a way to take the people on my "lists" off of my main news feed and only show up when I click their list on the left?  For example, I have my "college" list.  I only want to see those people's updates etc when I click on my "college" list, not filling up my main news feed.

Re: Facebook 'how to' question

  • You can hide their updates when you see them post in your feed. If you see a status update from them, just over over it with the pointer and a small gray arrow will show up in the top right hand side of their update. Click on it and it will have a drop down menu, you can "Unsubscribe" to their posts.

Super valuable to ME durring election season when every jackass I have ever met seems to way to throw us uneducated opinion up on Facebook.
