I got up and ran this local teeny race this morning, just for the heck of it (and the $10 race fee). I ran 13 yesterday so I wasn't expecting much. I felt great, so I just went...right into a new 5k pr AND my first age group win! Woot! I had a 21:40 on my Garmin, including a 6:53 last mile.
The best part? My prize was a box from Starbucks with a tumbler, a pound of Blonde beans, and a 12-pack of Via. Score!!!
