I applied for a job with a company in November, heard back in December that they wanted me to fill out 10 pages of information for a potential interview. Never heard back after I submitted my paperwork. I emailed the HR rep twice and called her twice ( generally about once a week for 4 weeks). I just let it go, I figured they found someone better. However the job was re-posted on March 16th. Do you think I should apply again? I sort of want to but I was so upset that I did so much work for nothing last time.
ETA: And I am sort of torn if I really want to work for a company that is not considerate in calling potential candidates back. Whether we were wanted for an interview or not. It takes 10 minutes to call and say " Hi A, this is so and so from Company A and we wanted to thank you for your interest in this position but we have decided to go a different way for the time being."
Re: S/O Jobs WWMND?
I had a similar situation back over the summer when I was job searching. I found the job in the local newspaper and it sound perfect for me. I applied, and never heard anything. After about a month, and it still being in the newspaper as being open, I called and the guy told me that a company out of Chicago does their phone interviews, based on if they think the applicant would be a fit - based off of the online application.
I was annoyed, #1- because they could have at least called if they weren't interested in me, and #2- because why is a company 3,000 miles away hiring for our local office?? I never applied again and gave up. The way they handled it made me not want to try so hard to work for them. I found a my current job anyways, and the newspaper one eventually stopped being posted.

It would be my first job in my field so it would be perfect but you're right. I just don't think its worth applying again for something that they blew me off for before.
Thanks Gumby!
